ARM CHAIR

Arm Chair, 2014, Watercolor & ink on Hot Pressed Watercolor Paper

A nice, creepy little painting for October: Vintage style armchair with tentacles flailing and curling around it. Available in the shop. Have a seat, won't you?

MARIGOLD

Marigold, Ink, Watercolor, Paint Marker on Panel, 2013
Here is the result of a previous entry I posted a month or so ago. I'm very excited to announce that this painting has been accepted into the Dia de Los Muertos show the Peoria Art Guild is having on November 1st!

Inspired by the beautifully intricate petal patterns found on different types of marigolds and of course the iconic, traditional sugar skulls and keeping the bright and festive feel of the holiday.

JUST A FEW

Favorite Things detail, 2011
New painting is ready to be seen! Watercolor, ink, graphite on gessoed wood. It's actually a piece of interlocking plywood for flooring (see detail shots below) I got during my design internship at Sassafras Enterprises.

Also, here is one of the small paintings/drawings I made during the Chicago Comic Con a couple of months ago. Thought this piece was lost, but found it luckily! If anyone is interested in purchasing this (or any of my work) just contact me.
